Libpod 1.4.0 发布了。Libpod 是一个用于创建并运行 OCI（Open Container Initiative）容器 pod 的库和工具，容器 pod 概念由 Kubernetes 发扬光大。Libpod 中还包含 pod 管理工具 Podman，Podman 管理 pod、容器、容器镜像和容器卷。
此版本更新特性包括：
- podman checkpoint 和 podman restore 命令现在可用于在不同系统上的 Podman 安装之间迁移容器
- podman cp 命令现在支持 pause 标志，以便在复制时暂停容器
- 远程客户端现在支持用于预配置到远程 Podman 安装的连接的配置文件
