软件介绍
谷歌创意实验室今天推出了一个小型的开源项目Tailbone，允许开发者使用JavaScript来读、写Google App Engine Datastore中的数据。这为不熟悉或不喜欢使用Python、 Java、Go语言的开发者使用App Engine提供了一个新的方式。
Tailbone项目开发人员称，之所以创建这个项目，是因为该团队中一些创造性的开发者几乎都在使用HTML5和JavaScript，他们的 其中一项主要工作是为读写App Engine Datastore数据的项目以及使用谷歌账户储存用户信息的项目编写服务器端代码，为了使这一过程更容易，才创建了Tailbone作为 Datastore的RESTful API。
