软件介绍
比利时鲁汶大学的博士后研究员Jon Sneyers宣布了一种新的无损图像格式FLIF，源代码在 GPLv3许可证下发布在Github上。FLIF目前还在开发之中，开发者称它的压缩比超过了PNG、FFV1、无损WebP、无损BPG和无损 JPEG2000。
其它无损图像格式支持渐进解码（progressive
decoding），即下载压缩图像的同时就能开始解码，但根据不同无损格式其效果存在差异。开发者称FLIF支持渐进交错（progressive
interlacing），下载一小部分无损压缩图像文件后能解码出效果不错的完整有损图像（可查看示例）。
